Types of Stand-ups

1. Demonstration (or interactive) stand-up — demonstrates a point in the story, using props or the natural setting.
2. Bridge stand-up—
bridges the gap or makes a transition between two different ideas in the story (this is the stand-up we prefer in your in-depth and quick turnaround packages.
3. Closing stand-up — summarises or wraps up the story. (We discourage this in packages other than in Same-Day stories). The closing stand-up may be more memorable/powerful because it uses a strong visual and a great line to go out with.
4. Information
stand-up — incorporates information you don’t have video to cover.
5. Scene-setting stand-up — establishes the reporter's presence at the scene, adding credibility to the report.
